Nyctinastic Movements of Oxalis Regnellii

Here's a picture of my Oxalis Regnellii at night. As you can see the leaves have folded together very tightly.

    I also bought my Oxalis regnellii at a yard sale but knew nothing about it. I just liked the way it looked. It does exactly what you say and I was completely shocked to see it bloom one day and as of Nov 25/10, it still had white flowers. I just love this plant and did not know it was from bulbs and can be grown outside and can survive minus degree weather.
